Manchester, NH – The Red Arrow Diner is continuing its year-long celebration of 100 years of operation in Manchester. It has partnered with the Manchester Historic Association (MHA) to create a commemorative 100th anniversary pewter ornament with SteelBerry in Vermont. Starting in August, the ornaments will be available for purchase through the MHA, at each of the Red Arrow Diner’s four locations in Manchester, Concord, Londonderry, and Nashua, and on the Red Arrow Diner’s website.
The Red Arrow Diner is also highlighting the decades of the past century with its 2022 monthly menu discounts, which correspond to popular foods of each time period. The Diner Dish of the Decade for July celebrates the 1970s with slices of homemade carrot cake available at a discount. August will feature a 1980s-inspired Diet Coke special with a scoop of ice cream added to Diet Cokes for free. The 1990s rise of popularity of both poutine and Ranch salad dressing is the inspiration for September’s special: customers can add a side order of poutine for free with the purchase of a chicken Ranch roll-up.
In October, all Moe-Latta drinks (made famous in the 2000s) and frappes will be available at a discounted price. The 2010s saw the boom of sriracha, so the Red Arrow Diner’s “Firecracker Omelette” with sriracha will be lower for the month of November. December’s special will be the spicy chicken sandwich to honor the 2020s and all things spicy. Each Diner Dish of the Decade will be available at all four Red Arrow Diner locations.
The Red Arrow Diner’s Facebook campaign, recognizing the contributions of 100 local businesses, is ongoing. The public is asked to continue nominating New Hampshire-owned businesses of any industry for consideration.
“We are overwhelmed by the support of the community as we commemorate 100 years in business,” said Carol Lawrence, Co-Owner and President, Red Arrow Diner. “The rich history of the Red Arrow Diner and its role as a Manchester staple are due to the hard work of the owners and staff who came before us, and its future is secured by the amazing team members we have today.”
