Ruais is the first declared candidate to enter the 2023 race for Mayor of Manchester. He is promising a “fresh vision” for the Queen City and is vowing to take on issues from homelessness, to public safety, to mental health. Ruais is connecting his campaign to his own recovery from alcoholism, which he believes will allow him to understand and relate to the issues of addiction on the Manchester streets.
